Every feature and technology in the New Tourneo Connect is there for a reason, and it’s all designed to make driving easier. Advanced technology can help you park and avoid obstacles, can respond automatically so you don’t have to worry about turning on headlights, or switching on wipers and can even display the speed limit you are in.

Along with a Euro NCAP 5 star rating, New Tourneo Connect has a range of sophisticated technologies, to help protect you, other road users, pedestrians, and even itself. For example, there are systems that can brake for you, call the emergency services automatically, and take the stress out of hill starts. And there are technologies that let you lock and unlock doors individually; make copying the key fob almost impossible and can still sound the alarm, even if the battery’s been disconnected.

An advanced system to help you stay in lane

A Lane Keeping System uses a forward-looking camera to detect if you’re unintentionally drifting out of lane. Lane Keeping Alert then warns you by vibrating the steering wheel and displaying a visual warning. If you're slow to react or don’t respond, Lane Keeping Aid can provide steering torque assistance to help guide you safely back into the right lane. The technology is designed for multi-lane roads (like motorways), so will automatically deactivate at speeds below 43mph (65 km/h) or can be turned off manually. (Option)

Traffic Sign Recognition

Whether the signs are at the side of the road or above it, permanent or temporary, the optional Traffic Sign Recognition can identify them. An icon of that speed or a no-overtaking sign appears on the instrument cluster and changes every time you enter a new limit. (Option)
