The mid-sized model in our Transit range, Transit Custom, sets the benchmark for efficiency and loadspace and will make a striking impression on your customers. All-new Ford EcoBlue engines offer more power and torque, yet are cleaner and more fuel-efficient than ever before.
Optional Collision Mitigation with Emergency Braking uses a radar and camera to detect vehicles and pedestrians in the road ahead, and even people who may cross your path. It can alert you to a potential collision. If you don’t respond to the system’s warning, Active Braking pre-fills the braking system and can automatically apply the brakes to reduce the severity of accidents, or help avoid them altogether (functions at speeds of up to 45 mph only).
Both the 130 PS and 170 PS engines are available with a new six-speed SelectShift automatic transmission. This is designed to provide a smooth and relaxing driving experience, especially in busy stop-start traffic. The transmission allows you to change gear manually if you prefer, using the facia-mounted gearshift. It also provides the ability to lock out gears in more challenging driving conditions, e.g. on slippery surfaces or steep gradients.
